It's been quite awhile since I had a "Share It Thursday" where I share with you some of my favorite dog blogs!
My first pick is Beloved Pets Pet Blog . It has some cute pet pics and some great articles such as How to Train a New Puppy and Tips for Giving Baths to Fussy Dogs.
My second pick is Raise A Green Dog. They have some great "green" pet products on there. I like the post on How you can help clean up the oil spill in the Gulf .
My last pick is Funny Dog Blog . Anytime you are feeling a little down, check out the cute and funny pictures on this blog and I'm sure you will feel much better!

Today's Share it Thursday's web site is one sent to me by Best Western Hotels. I had no idea that Best Western even had pet friendly hotels, much less over 1900 of them. Good to know the next time me and the doggies need to travel.
Anywho, the website sent to me is really fun. It's called the Inseperator an interactive site where you put your picture up, add your dog's picture (or cat's) and then hit a few buttons and they combine the pictures to make one freaky picture. It's free to use and fun to play with. I tried it but my pictures came up too scary to even show. Here's a picture though of an inseperated pet and owner:

Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul…Food & A Chance to Win!
We have all heard of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series. Have you read "Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul"? I have and it's a wonderful book.
I had no idea that there is actually a Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Pet Food too. They have it available for dogs and cats. How cool is that?
Check out their site http://www.chickensoupforthepetloverssoul.com/ to learn more about it. They have loads of pet info on there. There are articles on dog and cat care, nutrition, health, etc.
Looking through all the articles, I found some interesting tidbits that I didn't know. For instance, did you know that there has been 3,567,715 microchips implanted in dogs and cats and that number is probably much higher now. Out of those 308,647 pets have been reunited with their owners due to the microchips. I'd love to hear some of those stories!
Checking out there pet food products, it looks like you can get it at certain pet stores but they have a "where to buy" button so you can find the stores in your area that carry it. You can also order it online through http://petfooddirect.com .They even have a FAQ section that answers questions you may have about their pet food.

Three Great Websites for Share it Thursday
It seems like it's been quite awhile since I did a "Share it Thursday" with yall. So it's time again for one.
This week 2 of the 3 sites I'll share with you are great sites I found from my twitter pals.
First we have a great site that is trying to save dog lives around the country. It highlights great dogs that are in shelters and are in an immediate need of a home. I highly recommend checking out this site if you are looking for a new dog. It's called Needful Souls ( http://needfulsouls.org ).
The second site is called Tree Hugging Pets ( http://treehuggingpets.com ). This site shows great new eco friendly pet products and reviews. Very informative!
The last one is my site. Yes, I know, self promotion is not attractive but it is a dog site so why not include it? It's called Halloween Dog Costumes (http://halloweendogcostumes.org ) This site shows you some of the cutest new Halloween dog costumes for 2009.

3 Great Dog Sites for Share it Thursday
Again, no product review this week but I do have one scheduled for next Thursday. Remember, the doggies are great "testers" for your dog product so if you want your dog product reviewed, email me at doggymom@bloggydoggies.com.
So, this week I have 3 great dog sites for ya! The first one isn't a pet site per se but you can tell they love animals! The name of this site is BisketBaskets.com and they have really cool gift baskets including a line just for dogs!
The next one is The Dog Guide and this is a wonderful site with loads of info on dogs. My favorite feature is their Dog Photo of the Day .
The last one is really just a one page site about a product. But the product is so cool and the website is very interactive so I wanted to include it. It's for an innovative dog GPS system from a company called PAW. If you'd like to take a virtual tour, click here.

Ready for my Pet Site picks for this week?
Time for another Share it Thursday and three fantastic pet sites that I want to share with you!
The first one is TheTobyProject.org . It is an organization in New York City that is funding the operation of 5 mobile spay/neuter vans that will help rid the city of unwanted cat and dog pregnancies. This site is just so inspirational. I love seeing what animal lovers can accomplish when we put our mind to it.
The second one is a cute blog about 3 dachshunds appropriately named ThreeDachshunds.blogspot.com . I love all the Wiener dog pictures!
The last one is VarietyPets.com . If you are looking for a new pet to adopt or buy or any pet related supplies or services, check this site out first. They also have a cool Funny Pet Videos page.

Three Great Dog Sites!

Ok, I have 3 more cool dog sites to show you this week. The frst one is ILikeDogs.org and is geared towards kids. This site is promoting a book that promotes adoption in shelters. It looks like a great book and the site is very colorful. They have a learning secton about dogs and about adoption. Perfect for kids.
The second one is NameThatPooch.com . This is an ecommerce site that specializes in personalized gifts for dogs. They have treats, toys, holiday gifts and more! A really fun site!
Our last site for this week is for all of you who have a mutt of questionable parentage. It's called MyGenChan.com. You can actually register your mutt there just like you would a pure bred dog through the AKC. Really cool.

Three Great Animal Sites
Next week I'll have another product review. This week is time for "Share it Thursday" again with 3 cool animal websites.
I got these 3 from my twitter tweeps.
Grim Reaper move The first one is unFURgettables.com which is owned by artist Sarah Prescott. She makes beautiful animal portraits and notecards. be sure to watch the you tube video on her home page of her actually painting a portrait of Oprah Winfrey's dog Sadie. I love watching artists work!
Sherman's Way move The second one is called AnimalPlace.org Sanctuary and Education center. They got my attention on twitter because they always give such interesting animal related news in their tweets. Just check them out. They have so many interesting things on the site, I don't even know where to start.
My last site is called CrazyPet.com . This fun site is run by pets! It's very colorful. They have products you can buy. They also have lots of fun stuff for kids such as a Kid's Club, coloring pages and puzzles. A very colorful site.

One More week for "Share it Thursday" and I have a few great sites to share with you.
The first one is called AskSpikeOnline.com Dog Day Afternoon move and it's great resource for loads of dog information and articles. You can spend hours on there and never read it all! I loved looking at the reader's photo gallery.
The next two are owned by the same person Janet DeCori. Her blog Doggie Bits An American Affair movie
has some great dog informaton on it including recipes, videos and dog news updates. Her shop FidosGiftShop.com
is where you will find some really cool dog art prints, dog ebooks and more. Be sure to check out Dog Tails and read about Jasmine. It's a story that will touch your heart.

Well I thought I had another product review for you but the product I'm reviewing needs a little time before I can give it a proper review.
Soooo, it's another Share it Thursday with 3 more great animal sites.
The first one is
Eversave.com Mad Money move The Package film The Santa Clause 2 . This one is on pets but they have lots of interesting articles in lots of different categories.
This one is pictures of Bella, the white dog and it's really cute and funny. It's called Chronicles of the White Dog
The last one is called download On Location: George Carlin at USC Its the Dogs Life
and it's an interesting blog about a doggy mom (like me) who has 6 dogs, 6 BIG dogs. You'll enjoy it!
