The Departed rip New York, New York move
I bought these cute little Lamb Ears Headband from the local General Dollar Store. I thought it would be cute to put them on the dogs for Easter pictures. Joey didn't seem to even notice but the other dogs really hated it. I had to take fast pictures to get some shots where the headband is actually on their head!

The Saga of the Muddy Floor
The Jerk film
Yesterday I showed you this picture:
It's the floor right in front of my back door with the doggy-door. You can even see Buddy's tail to the left as he was walking by from coming in.
Nuit américaine, La film
This is the reason why my floors are so dirty:
It's finally drying up now. This was once grass but after a very rainy March and 4 dogs tramping back and forth, it is now a drying mud puddle.
I gave up trying to mop that area (it does have two area rugs in front of it) in front of the door while there was so much rain. Seemed like 10 minutes after I'd mop, the floor would have little paw prints all over it again. Now I really got a mess to clean up! Anyone out there like mopping???

Tell Me Thursday-The Dogs Play Soccer
The Greatest Game Ever Played movie
Yesterday I showed this picture:
Here's the story behind it. See this field behind my house? And the school beyond it?
In the late afternoons in the Spring, the city has kids' soccer practices there. Apparently, some unfortunate kid kicked the ball into our yard. With 4 dogs, they weren't about to venture into our yard to get it. Soooo…….
This is what happened to it. Roxy and Buddy love to play tug of war. This is their version of playing soccer.
Hmmm, I'm wondering why the city is using soccer balls for kids that has an alcohol logo on it.

A Doggy Tell Me Thursday
Here's a link to Wednesday post and picture: Wordless Wednesday. The picture is of Roxy giving my 18 year old son Ryan (who is technically her master) a hug. Ryan had just come home from school and had a rough day. Roxy tends to be very affectionate. They were sitting in my studio/office while I worked. The dogs often hang out with me there & I affectionately call them my "office mates".
Here's a few more pictures taken at the same time:
